After working in the commercial property industry for almost 40 years, I am sure of two things: first, that biggest is not always best; second, that there is absolutely no substitute for experience. My partners and colleagues share this view; it forms the basis for the Douglas Newman Good approach.
Of course our size matters. Larger competitors struggle to sustain consistently high standards; smaller companies can provide the 'personal' touch but lack sufficient market reach. By retaining an optimum size we can offer clients the best of both worlds: a nationwide presence, high brand recognition and a truly personal service. So, our ambition is not to be the biggest, but to be recognised by our clients as the best in our industry. Our reputation rests on experience. Established in 1982, Douglas Newman Good draws on and learns from a 25-year presence in the Irish property market, while individually, many of our consultants have worked in the industry even longer.
When asked to define the Douglas Newman Good 'difference', I invariably provide a one-word answer: people. We have the best people in the business.
